Amazing Party Venue for Receptions or Weddings!

There are many beautiful places to get married or have parties on the island and no question the beach locations are certainly the most popular among Cozumel visitors. But there are other authentic, locals style party venues that can play host to incredible events, reunions and parties and one of those is Hacienda Ixtlan Reception Venue.

According to Wikipedia, the word Ixtlán is of náhuatl origin, composed of the words "Itz-tli" meaning obsidian, and "tlán", meaning place where it is found. So the name means "place where obsidian is found," or "place of the obsidian knife." With it's huge sharp edged palapa rising into the sky, the name seems appropriate for this Hacienda style party venue build with large crowds in mind.

Hacienda Ixtlan can host up to 600 guests and provides several different shaded venues to select from, depending on the size of group being hosted. The grounds feature large open garden areas, a swimming pool as well as fountains and beautiful night time, under-the-stars lighting, Hacienda Ixtlan makes a perfect place for any event in Cozumel, day or night.
