A Personal Note from Sherri "Grilled Cheese Anyone?!"
Sherri Davis - Owner/Operator CozumelInsiderSpring has arrived and for the most part here on the island, “winter” as we know it is behind us for 2015! Seems like only yesterday we were watching the Carnaval parades go by and then welcoming Spring Breakers but even that too has all come and gone for 2015. It was an amazing and incredible season for us not just at IslaMar Villas but at PalMar and with Insider as well. Fortunately we were able to integrate several new staff members into our mix who helped us create a banner year and some incredible experiences for travelers coming to see us!

We are taking advantage of the break from Winter Season to do some Spring cleaning and planting ~ so many projects, so little time before the next wave of tourism comes our way for the Summer. But we’ll be ready and hopefully you are too! It’s time to plan those summer getaways and don’t forget Cozumel when making your travel decisions! Since Summer is a lower season for us than Winter, often you can find incredible savings not only on airfares but lodging as well.

I will close by reminding you all that it is National Grilled Cheese Month in the U.S. ~ a sacred time of year for many it seems….had no idea grilled cheeses had their own month. Go figure!

Wow! You have been so helpful Sherri! thank you so very much for taking the time in giving me so much details that would help me with the excursions! you are so sweet! if I have any other questions I will be sure to let you know. Thank you again for being so helpful! Have a blessed day! :) K. Shields ~ Little Rock, Arkansas USA

We just got back from Cozumel and the best thing we did was the Sea Turtle Release with FP&M. They were very educational and not just about the turtles. We were so excited to be able to hold the babies and set them free. Watching them bob their heads out of the water to breathe was quite a sight! Digging for them was enchanting, like finding buried treasure! Thanks to COZUMELINSIDER for helping us make this happen! Karen E. ~ Arroyo Grande, CA USA

Hello, I will visit the island next weekend. I just want to thank you and your staff who make this website, because I´ve been checking a lot of websites, even those Trip Advisor, and yours has been much more useful to plan this trip. Specially because it has links to official websites from local beaches, tips about prices and ways to get somewhere. Good job! I´ll write again to tell you about the experience. C. Quijano (Feb. 2015) ~ Mexico

Sherri...thank you again so very much for your fantastic website and for your excellent stories on life in Cozumel. We fellow Texans that are not fortunate enough to actually live there are able to do it through you and we are all extremely grateful...and incredibly envious! Having been an airline employee until retirement I have been lucky to have been down island over 20 times and it NEVER gets old. I thought I knew all about Cozumel, but was delighted to learn of new things and places through you and your website. Your current posting of how you came to Cozumel was so cool. You really need to work on that book! Congrats on this milestone, and continued luck and success in all you do. See you in September for our annual trip down for my birthday and Mexican Independence Day. M. Goodwin ~ Dallas, Texas

Hello Sherri ~ I met you back in 2001 (12 years ago!) when my husband and I along with another couple were involved in a wreck and you were behind us and helped us out as to our rights in the matter. A motorcycle ran into the side of us pretty bad if you recall. I believe you said you lived in Addison, Texas like us. I have booked a trip and will be in Cozumel next Tuesday. Any recommendation on vehicle rental you can suggest for me? LATER: My date and I had a blast in Cozumel. He loved the island. It was a very short trip. I am including a photo of us on the cruise. He would like to go back and stay for a few days at your place. Hope you are doing good, please keep in touch. C Bronstad ~ San Antonio, TX
