IslaMar was a wonderful refuge from Nebraska snow and ice. We thought about a larger, all-inclusive hotel, but after considering the crowds, noise and extra expense, we decided this met “our all-inclusive needs” much better. As former home owners in Cozumel, this will be our new home in Cozumel. This is a wonderful substitute for our home. We lost a fountain and gained a swimming pool. Staying at IslaMar gave us a wonderful insight into the culture and daily life of Cozumel. The sounds and smells of the neighborhood became familiar and comforting. We adored Zuri and wish that we could take her home with us. The efforts of the staff were extremely helpful in dealing with a “foreign environment” and were greatly appreciated.
