This lovely 2nd floor studio efficiency vacation rental villa is all one big, open space with lots of elbow room! It is perfect for a couple or a single traveler and features a full kitchen with built in electric stove top, toaster oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is a nice sized eating bar with 4 solid jungle hardwood bar chairs, a bathroom and queen size bed. Decor is tropical, casual & comfortable.
Downstairs in the common area garden, there are lawn chairs, a pool/spa, dive equipment stow bins, gear rinse tank, and hammocks to enjoy. For those who are frequent visitors to the island, moving out of the hotel zone and integrating into the culture of an ordinary neighborhood in a vacation rental home is the "next step" to becoming "a local!" And this wonderful IslaMar Studio Villa apartment is the perfect way for visitors to transition from "hotel staying" to an "island living" experience.

Staying at IslaMar gave us a wonderful insight into the culture and daily life of Cozumel. The sounds and smells of the neighborhood became familiar and comforting. We adored Zuri and wish that we could take her home with us. The efforts of the staff were extremely helpful in dealing with a “foreign environment” and were greatly appreciated. Very nice home base for our diving vacation! Nice villa, enjoyed our neighbors, hearing the roosters crow and relaxing in the hammock.
