This lovely 2nd floor studio efficiency villa is all one big, open space with lots of elbow room! It is perfect for a couple or a single traveler and features a full kitchen with electric stove top, toaster oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is a nice sized eating bar with 4 solid hardwood bar chairs, a bathroom and queen size bed. Decor is tropical, casual & comfortable.
Downstairs in the common area garden, there are lawn chairs, a pool/spa, dive equipment lockers, gear rinse tank, outdoor shower and hammocks to enjoy. For those who are frequent visitors to the island, moving out of the hotel zone and integrating into the culture of an ordinary neighborhood is the "next step" to becoming "a local!" And this wonderful IslaMar Studio Villa is the perfect way for visitors to transition from "hotel staying" to an "island living" experience.
Over the years, this islaMar Studio Villa has amassed quite a following of repeat guests. Some folks email or call Sherri and simply say "Get my apartment ready - I'm coming down!" or they ask "?Is the chic pad available?!" It's just a really comfortable space that feels like home! So come give it a try and see for yourself what living in paradise could feel like!

IslaMar is a great place to stay and we could not have made a better choice in accomodation. Clean, tidy and all the amenities you'll ever need. Away from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by great local restaurants. The pricing makes these condos even more attractive then what they already are. Would we go back there? Let's put it this way, Sherrie and Jacqueline had a hard time getting us OUT of the place when it was time to leave. Would we recommend IslaMar? That's a silly question, of course! We cannot begin to express our thanks to Sherri, and the staff at IslaMar Villas for our wonderful 11-night stay. This was our third time staying at IslaMar Villas and for us it's the only place to stay in Cozumel. It has truly become our home away from home. We love the apartments, the courtyard and pool, and the warm and friendly neighborhood.
We also used "Insider" to book our car rental with Avis. It went very smoothly and Jacqueline also helped us trade in our little Chevy Pop for something a little bigger.
A big THANK YOU to Sherri for introducing us to a wonderful private driver on the mainland and for arranging our excursion to Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal. We were so happy that we decided to finally venture off the island and go to the mainland to see the ruins. The driver Sherri arranged for us was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we saw things we wouldn't have even known about had we taken the car ferry and driven on our own. To anyone looking for a private tour of places on the mainland, we highly recommend asking Sherri to arrange it for you. It was well worth it!
