Alternatives to Scuba & Snorkeling |
|
Tired of just simple snorkeling and want to get closer to the action? Take a look at some of these alternatives -
Snuba is a shallow-water diving system developed to bridge the gap between snorkeling and scuba diving. There is no safer, easier or more enjoyable way to experience the thrill and wonder of breathing underwater. No heavy, bulky or complicated diving equipment is used and no intensive training or certification is required. The truth is that if you are healthy and can breathe, you meet the requirements to Snuba! Divers breathe using a standard diving regulator which is connected by a 20-foot air line to a tank that floats at the surface in a specially designed raft. As you move underwater, the raft follows you, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 20 feet. Because there is no complicated, heavy diving gear involved, you are in full control, free to explore the incredible reefs – relaxed and hassle free.
Sea Trek Helmet Diving is the easiest and most comfortable way to explore underwater. It's as simple as walking and breathing. A space age helmet sits comfortably on the your shoulders while a continuous flow of air provides breathing with ease. Your hair doesn't get wet and you can even wear prescription glasses. The maximum depth is approximately 20 feet. A sea Trek guide wears a helmet while and divers in scuba gear remain with the group.
The 48 passenger Atlantis XII Submarine offers you a chance to experience why Cozumel remains one of the top dive destinations in the world. Diving to depths of up to 100 feet, Atlantis brings you up close and personal with Cozumel's top attraction, Chankanaab, an exciting part of the second largest reef in the world. |
Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed The SNUBA and snorkeling trip. It was absolutely breathtaking seeing the wonderful reefs and sea life firsthand. I would say the SNUBA experience made our vacation one of the best ever for us. I was as excited as a Young child in a candy store when I went under with your support staff. Your whole group was so helpful and accomodating to us and I loved the whole experience. Thanks again! We will definitely be back and also tell our friends about the wonders of SNUBA! G. We visited Cozumel on April 13, 2016 and very thoroughly enjoyed the private jeep tour with Israel. Israel was a great asset to the trip, knowledgeable of the island and its history, enjoyable to talk to and very focused on ensuring our jeep ride was a great one. You will enjoy this adventure! P. Wanted to report back about our excursions you booked for us. We loved the submarine tour. Being able to go down 100' was incredibly exciting! We saw a turtle and a few large groupers. The reefs were really beautiful, so glad we did this. Jennifer Lansing ~ Palo Verdes Estate, California

Hey Martin - Just to let you know, we had a good time on Cozumel and Israel was a great guide. He was energetic without being over the top, friendly without trying to be the best friend we have ever had, and guided us the whole time without any pushiness. He shared enough about life on the island for us to feel like he was really answering our questions and not parroting a standard spiel. I also liked he made an effort to keep us safe! He went out with us on the snorkel and kept an eye on everyone, especially our kids, and was careful about traffic, parking, and getting in and out of the van. Thanks for your help! G.
