Hello Sherri ~ I met you back in 2001 (12 years ago!) when my husband and I along with another couple were involved in a wreck and you were behind us and helped us out as to our rights in the matter. A motorcycle ran into the side of us pretty bad if you recall. I believe you said you lived in Addison, Texas like us. I have booked a trip and will be in Cozumel next Tuesday. Any recommendation on vehicle rental you can suggest for me? LATER: My date and I had a blast in Cozumel. He loved the island. It was a very short trip. I am including a photo of us on the cruise. He would like to go back and stay for a few days at your place. Hope you are doing good, please keep in touch. C Bronstad ~ San Antonio, TX

Thank you so much!!! Thank you for arranging the dolphin encounter for my family!!! Even in the aftermath of Hurricane Emily, Cozumel Insider came through with flying colors --- yall are perfect... A. Sikes ~ Frankston, TX USA

We will be leaving tommorrow for 2 week stay at Islamar villas and diving with Dive Paradise. All of this along with a car rental was booked through you guys. Not only did you have a professional attitude through all the e-mails in booking the original dates but at the last minute I extended my stay. You and your staff were especially kind through all of this. You got the car extended and went way out of your way to make sure everything was taken care of, not to mention letting me borrow your personal roller bag to go to the market. You extended everything with ease and you are a great asset to Cozumel and Mexico. This will be my 12 th trip and I will never work with anyone else from now on. Thank you Sherri. Jack J. (10/28/2015) I loved staying here. The purpose of my three-week trip was to improve my Spanish and learn about Mexican culture. This was the perfect place to do it. IslaMar is in a decidedly non-tourist part of town, which means you're far more likely to glimpse the heart and soul of Mexico here than you would be at a beach resort. You'll also save a lot of money on food and rent. I felt quite safe exploring the neighborhood and making the 10-minute walk downtown. If you don't feel like walking, you can hail a cab and ride practically anywhere you want to go in town for under $5.

The owner, Sherri, and her assistant Martin answered all my questions before and during my trip. The on-site staff were beyond friendly, sweet, and helpful with my every need. I asked for a Spanish tutor; they researched candidates and found me a great one. She improved my skills a lot, for very little money, and she was a joy to know. I hope she and I will be friends for life.

The property itself was comfortable and well maintained, with high-quality finishes. I was able to cook well in the kitchenette. The staff will wash, dry, and fold a huge bag of laundry for a small fee, so it's easy to stay here for longer time periods despite packing light.

IslaMar will be my first choice for all future trips to Cozumel. C. Dooley ~ Dallas, TX USA

Stay (02/09/2011) - I had a wonderful week here in Cozumel. The weather, the people, the beaches and the staff at IslaMar are amazing! I will let my friend and family know about how great it is to visit! Until the next time!!! Jodi T. ~ Ontario, Canada
