PalMar's SMALL Snorkel Beach Club
Avoid the mobs of the other big cruiser beaches and join the staff of PalMar Estate for a nice, quiet relaxing day on the beach in Cozumel. Seems like every beach in Cozumel is over populated these days and folks are looking for less crowded alternatives. If this is how you feel in Cozumel, then the small, quiet PalMar Beach Club just might be the place for you or your group.

Since it sits in front of a 10,000 sq. ft. private beachside residence, PalMar Beach Club is more of a home style experience. There are no jet skis buzzing or water mountains to scale out front at PalMar. Instead, guest will simply enjoy incredible snorkeling and swimming right in the heart of Dzul Ha ~ Cozumel's premier beach entry snorkel spot on the island.

Completely enclosed with walls/gates on all sides, PalMar can and does limit the number of guests inside to 50 at any given time so as to ensure a quality experience for everyone. Aside from the amazing shore snorkeling just in front, Palmar Beach Club has a fresh water pool and spa area, showers, restrooms and lockers as well as a snack bar and beverages and snorkel equipment rental.

Reservations Required ~ don't miss this beautiful, quiet beach day relaxing under the palms in Cozumel!

TAXIs do not want you to know about Palmar because they do not receive taxi kickbacks for delivery of guests at this location. Prices are lower for guests at this beach club for this reason!

Sherri, We just returned after a great cruise on the Carnival Holiday. We took a taxi from the cruise pier to Palmar Estate Beach Club and spent about 1/2 a day at your beautiful place. We toured the butterfly sanctuary with your wonderful guide, Enrique, who was informative and very gracious. I also spent quite a bit of time talking to Juan and he was delightful. We relaxed, ate chips and salsa, drank pina coladas and soaked in the sun. What a delightful place you have and a wonderful staff that made our visit great. Thanks and if we get a chance to recommend your place to others we will surely do that.

PS: Your website warned us that the taxi drivers may not be too helpful when asked to go to Palmar Estates and you were correct. After asking 3 drivers who all sort of turned up their noses at us and acted like they had never heard of your place or the butterfly sanctuary we found one that would listen. I told him it was between Hotel Presidente & Fiesta Americana and he said OK. If we would have told him just to go to the Money Bar he would have probably known just where to go. Anyway we got there in only about 6-8 minutes from the pier. Dale and Cathy Carlson ~ Louisville, KY

We spent a day @ your club while our ship was in port. What a wise choice ! The snorkeling was fantastic and your club was staffed by the warmest, kindest people that we met in Cozumel. Juan, his father and your other staff made us feel comfortable and welcome . The food was delicious, the drinks great and the prices very reasonable. Juan almost sold us another stay right then and there. We will be back and have already posted our review on the web. Muchos Gracias ! V. Perry ~ Danbury, CT

I considered your advice to drop by, and remembered reading that most public beaches get really crowded if there are a lot of cruise ships in port. There were 7 ships in Cozumel on Saturday, and I was prepared, got off the ship first thing at 9 with husband and snorkel gear in tow, and inquired about taxi rates. I was a little apprehensive when the taxi organizer didn't know where Palmar was, but I had your directions and coupon printed out so I told them it was between the two hotels and mentioned the beach name and all was well. I then realized it was a blessing for them not to know where I was going - that had to mean it wouldn't be too popular/crowded!

I believe we met Juan? He was very nice and made us feel very comfortable, showed us to a locker and we were off across the street. Hard to get in the water with all the rocks, but it was beautiful & shallow snorkeling, lots of neat corral - and 2 2 ft. barracudas guarded the shore.

When we came back we ordered guacamole and chips as well as a mango and pina colada daiquiri. It was obvious it was all just prepared and really fresh - best guacamole I've ever had, the chips were fresh, and the shakes were delicious. In summary, your location was beautiful, thank you for opening your home as a beach club so we could get away from the crowds, we felt so special! Juan was as good a host as he was a chef! We'll definitely be recommending Palmar! G. Nielsen ~ Cruise Passenger

Sherri, We had the most wonderful time with you in May 2013. You and your staff made our weekend there in Cozemel with your great hospitality. The grounds are beautiful, food was great and the snorkeling ~ well my group just could not get enough and were amazed by the tropical sealife there off your beach. We look so much forward to coming back and seeing you again very soon. Tell the staff thanks again and say hello to the family for us as well. Take care:0) ....Happy Cruise Passenger J. Last year we visited your Palamar beach club while on a cruise. We felt like we were in a true paradise. We are really into snorkeling so your location is tops. You took the time to talk with us and tell us a bit about your self and the businesses you have. It was very good to meet and talk with you. We felt like we were visiting family and were treated as such. I am pleased to say that we are again coming in on a cruise and can’t wait to return to paradise. I hope you can stop by and say hi if you are not too busy. T. Lemons ~ Cruise Passenger
