Looking to avoid the mobs of the other big cruiser beaches and really relax on your next island visit? Then we invite you to join us and our staff at PalMar Snorkel Beach Club, located in the Dzul Ha Reef, for a nice, quiet and relaxing day in Cozumel. These days it seems like every beach club in Cozumel is so packed with tourists that visitors are often wanting and searching for a less crowded alternative. If you prefer a less chaotic and more personalized environment when visiting Cozumel, then our quiet and quaint PalMar Snorkel Beach Club will be the perfect spot for you and your group to come spend the day! We really are the "Best Kept Secret in Cozumel" that many taxis claim doesn't even exist!!!.
PalMar Snorkel Beach Club is located just a mile or so south of downtown San Miguel and is enclosed with walls, fences and gates on all sides. PalMar sits in front of a 10,000 square foot private beachside residence and provides a unique feeling of a more home-style experience. Inside our walls you will find a freshwater swimming pool (great for novice snorkelers to practice their snorkeling techniques) with jetted spa area, showers, rinse tanks, restrooms and lockers as well as snorkel equipment gear (mask, snorkel and fins) and vests for rent. Surrounding the pool and jetted spa (not heated) area is a large decked area with plenty of loungers, chairs and tables for your relaxation pleasure! The grounds inside feature both sunlit areas to soak up our "Caribbean Paradise" rays and also natural shady areas from the numerous trees for those needing to cool off from the sun..
You will also find our friendly and helpful staff ready to provide you and your group everything you need to make your stay at PalMar Snorkel Beach Club a wonderful experience. You will find a quaint snack bar area where you will be able to purchase tasty freshly made-to-order snacks (guacamole, pico de gallo, ceviche, quesadillas, etc.) and a nice selection of beverages (bottled water, soda, beer and a selection of tropical mixed drinks). Our staff is always more than happy to make you a tasty snack or whip up some liquid refreshment during your time here at PalMar Beach SNorkel Club!
PalMar's Beach and Ocean area is just a few steps outside our gates where you will see our beach area surrounded by a retaining wall filled with sand, palm trees, potted plants, loungers, tables and chairs for any guests that prefer a waterfront, beachside day in paradise There are no crazy jet skis buzzing around constantly nor massive water mountains to scale out front at PalMar Snorkel Beach Club. Instead, we invite you to enjoy a relaxing day lounging on our beach under our palm trees! If you want to snorkel and swim in our world famous Dzul Ha Reef, you will find an abundance of incredible coral reefs, colorful fish and marine life here at PalMar! The beach-entry is a few steps down from our beach area directly into the pristine waters of the Caribbean. Do not forget to bring your underwater camera to snap pics of your time underwater! Plus our dedicated staff will keep a watch out for you on the beach in order to keep the drinks and snacks coming as you need them!

We have been coming to Cozumel for 20 years. PalMar Beach Club is a perfect place to enjoy Cozumel. The shore snorkeling is the best on the entire Island. The sea life is wonderful; you can safely leave your items in a locker. Enjoy drinks and have lunch. It is not a large loud beach club it is perfect. Remember wonderful things come in small boxes, and in this case it is a diamond location with wonderful staff. The other phrase can be "location, location"! P. We spent a day @ your club while our ship was in port. What a wise choice ! The snorkeling was fantastic and your club was staffed by the warmest, kindest people that we met in Cozumel. Mauricio, Dn. Juan and your other staff made us feel comfortable and welcome . The food was delicious, the drinks great and the prices very reasonable. They almost sold us another stay right then and there. We will be back and have already posted our review on the web. Muchos Gracias ! V. Perry ~ Danbury, CT USA
Just finished cruise to Cozumel 5/23/2015. I had looked at info about PalMar Estate before going but did not make decision to go until the day our ship ported in Cozumel. I was with a small group of 4 and it was hard to communicate with my group prior to the trip. We went downtown first and when that got old real quick, I reminded the group of this location. It was still hard to get approval by everyone. I finally said, "we are taking a chance and going". We got a taxi (the taxi drivers act like they have never heard of it, but we took the information from this site which includes directions). We are so glad we went, it was the highlight of our cruise. The bathroom was clean, the employees were so accommodating, it was away from tourist crowds and the snorkeling was terrific. Only $13 (which includes a couple of beers) each to use their facility and beach. Enrique was an employee there who made us the best Pico de Gallo and guacamole I have ever had and served us on the beach. He was so sweet, we would have put him in our pocket and taken him back to Texas with us if we could. We would go there again definitely! G. Coldwell-May 2015 ~ Dallas, TX USA
We arrived in Cozumel on the Harmony of the Seas. After 6 days on a crowded ship, we wanted peaceful surroundings. The lounge chairs are available at the beach and by the house, but need padding to make them comfortable. The tables and chairs worked better for us. The snorkeling was awesome in the crystal clear water. There were ships tours dropping divers and snorkelers just past the buoys. It's a great place for very little money. We each had 2 Dos XX's as part of our admission and purchased guacamole with chips. The guacamole was freshly made and delicious. If you are looking for a posh place, PalMar is not for you. For us, it was wonderful! J. Postar/T. Bork - Dec. 2016 ~ Boca Raton, FL USA
Another fantastic visit to the PalMar Snorkel Beach Club. The Beach Club is a real bargain and includes use of the private pool, touring the Butterfly Sanctuary, and using the beach area on the world-famous reef (Bart and Tiff had a great time snorkeling and were delighted to see many colorful fish near the reef). Day use tickets even include 2 free drinks. The food is excellent as we enjoyed guacamole, ceviche, and chicken enchiladas, all terrific examples of great local food (I believe I ate my weight in ceviche and guacamole). Best of all is the sweet service offered by the employees! Iit’s a perfect balance of the staff being humble and grateful for the income we generate, and us being grateful and humbled by the beautiful surroundings and the grace of the local folks. I so enjoyed our visit! We're thinking about checking out the IslaMar Vacation Villas next. V. Hallenbeck - November 2017 ~ Winston-Salem, NC USA
