PalMar's SMALL Snorkel Beach Club
Avoid the mobs of the other big cruiser beaches and join the staff of PalMar Estate for a nice, quiet relaxing day on the beach in Cozumel. Seems like every beach in Cozumel is over populated these days and folks are looking for less crowded alternatives. If this is how you feel in Cozumel, then the small, quiet PalMar Beach Club just might be the place for you or your group.

Since it sits in front of a 10,000 sq. ft. private beachside residence, PalMar Beach Club is more of a home style experience. There are no jet skis buzzing or water mountains to scale out front at PalMar. Instead, guest will simply enjoy incredible snorkeling and swimming right in the heart of Dzul Ha ~ Cozumel's premier beach entry snorkel spot on the island.

Completely enclosed with walls/gates on all sides, PalMar can and does limit the number of guests inside to 50 at any given time so as to ensure a quality experience for everyone. Aside from the amazing shore snorkeling just in front, Palmar Beach Club has a fresh water pool and spa area, showers, restrooms and lockers as well as a snack bar and beverages and snorkel equipment rental.

To ensure you have the best possible experience, PalMar does require a Reservation & Deposit in advance (1 week advance notice)! Do not miss this beautiful, quiet beach and a day relaxing under the palms in Cozumel! Please submit your reservation request promptly to enjoy our little slice of paradise!

TAXIs do not want you to know about Palmar because they do not receive taxi kickbacks for delivery of guests at this location. Prices are lower for guests at this beach club for this reason!

Hi Sherri, I'm putting together our scrapbook from our vacation and wanted to thank you again for your hospitality at PalMar Estate Beach Club! We had a great time at your place in Cozumel. It was nice to have such a wonderful place to go while we were in a place that we had never been to before! I have been giving a lot of people at work your info since I know quite a few of them visit that area for vacations. Thanks so much! The Taylors ~ Portland, OR

My son and I decided to avoid the cruise ship excursions for snorkeling and try Pal Mar Estate Beach Club. I read a number of reviews and figured it was worth a shot. We have gone on 4 cruises now and always done the cruise line sponsored excursions and without a hesitation this is by far the best thing we have done. Pal Mar was nice, clean, very quiet and the staff was beyond awesome. One of the most relaxing times we have had. The Pico de Gallo was fresh and hand made and fantastic....my son wont touch tomatoes and such and he ate it all up...wonderful! The snorkeling was a lot of fun and we saw tons of fish, starfish, coral, etc. and even a Moray eel. Very cool and spooky too to be honest. We had a blast and would do it again in a heartbeat. With cab fare both ways, Pal Mar admission, 4 beers for me and two sodas for my son along with chips and Pico we spent only 65$. We snorkeled for almost 4 hours....exhausted but a blast! We must have seen at least 8 excursion trips come through the area we were at and they are there maybe 45 min to an hour and gone. It would have cost us 3 times what we paid to do the ship excursion and we got to relax and snorkel all day. Can't recommend it enough and we will definitely be back when our next cruise stops in Cozumel. Thank you so much for your hospitality!! M. Schomaker (Feb. 2015) ~ Elk River, MN

Sherri, We just returned after a great cruise on the Carnival Holiday. We took a taxi from the cruise pier to Palmar Estate Beach Club and spent about 1/2 a day at your beautiful place. We toured the butterfly sanctuary with your wonderful guide who was informative and very gracious. I also spent quite a bit of time talking to Juan and he was delightful. We relaxed, ate chips and salsa, drank pina coladas and soaked in the sun. What a delightful place you have and a wonderful staff that made our visit great. Thanks and if we get a chance to recommend your place to others we will surely do that.

PS: Your website warned us that the taxi drivers may not be too helpful when asked to go to Palmar Estates and you were correct. After asking 3 drivers who all sort of turned up their noses at us and acted like they had never heard of your place or the butterfly sanctuary we found one that would listen. I told him it was between Hotel Presidente & Fiesta Americana and he said OK. Anyway we got there in only about 6-8 minutes from the pier. Dale and Cathy Carlson ~ Louisville, KY

WOW!!!! So glad to have stumbled upon Cozumel Insider and found Sherri and PalMar Small Beach Club. Personable, responsive, tailored, every whim satisfied- from drinks to beach chairs, to the best guacamole ever made, to wonderful conversation with Sherri and staff. This service is simply not found at larger tourist beaches and clubs. We are now loyal guests and will return and return and return. Sherri's story is most intriguing and it was entertaining and awe-inspiring to hear her tell it. Our only regret is that our RC cruise ship was departing and we had to head back to port much sooner than we wanted to. Martin- you are AWESOME! thanks for the photos you emailed and all the coordination leading up to our verbs short visit. We know you didn't have to do that- but it matters and have made us fans for life. Love you guys! John and Sarah ~ Pennsylvania, USA

Dear Sherri - I just wanted to tell you how much my friend and I enjoyed spending the day at Palmar when we were on a cruise last week. Your staff are some of the most gracious, polite, and accommodating gentlemen I have ever met. This was my second visit to Palmar and the first for my friend. She was overwhelmed by the hospitality, and we both enjoyed the tour and explanation of the butterflies as well. Thank you again for a wonderful day at Palmar. Sincerely, JG J Gourley ~ N/A
