Cozumel is well known world wide for our snorkeling and there are many snorkeling beach clubs on both sides of the island. But without a doubt, one (1) of the island's most beautiful, ocean-side estates is Cozumel's PalMar Snorkel Beach Club where guests are invited to spend an unforgettable day inside their lush, tropical oasis beside the freshwater pool. What makes our experience special is we are small, quiet and peaceful. It is not a massive tourist beach with hundreds of guests. When you are ready for a change of scenery from the beach club area, just take a short stroll outside the fenced and gated estate area to their private PalMar beach where you can lounge on beach chairs or walk down into the stunning Caribbean waters and experience some of the best snorkeling available in the Dzul Ha Reef area!
The management and staff at PalMar Snorkel Beach Club in Cozumel hope you will visit and spend a relaxing and peaceful day at our beach club. Be it spent poolside basking in the warm rays of the sun or venturing over to the beach where you can discover the many underwater secrets of the Caribbean by stepping into the crystal-clear turquoise waters where you can literally spend hours gazing at the colorful corals, sponges and vast variety of fish and marine life! Our friendly staff is ready and willing to assist in making your time at PalMar Snorkel Beach Club an unforgettable experience!

Directions to PalMar Snorkel Beach Club
By Taxi:
PalMar Snorkel Beach Club is located just south of ALL cruise ship piers between Presidente Intercontinental Cozumel Resort & Spa and Fiesta Americana Hotel - a very short 5-10 minute ride via taxi.
It will cost US $9.00 to $11.00 per four (4) persons via taxi.
Ask the taxi driver take you to the Dzul Ha Reef beach area.
TAXIs do not want you to know about Palmar because they do not receive taxi kickbacks for delivery of guests at this location. Prices are lower for guests at this beach club for this reason!
By Rental Car:
PalMar is located south of town and past all cruise ship piers.
On the NEW main highway there is an overhead sign pointing the way to the OLD highway.
The overhead sign says "Chankanaab, Dzul Ha and Fiesta Americana Hotels".
Exit the NEW main highway to the right just where this overhead sign is and get onto the OLD highway.
You will pass the Presidente Intercontinental Cozumel Resort & Spa and go another half mile or so to the Dzul Ha Reef beach area.
If you pass the condos on your left or the Fiesta Americana Hotel, you just missed us!
Once there, you will see a "YELLOW" sign that says "PALMAR SNORKEL BEACH CLUB ~ NOW OPEN!"
You can't miss it!! I hope to see you there! - Sherri
Great snorkeling, peaceful day by the pool, and steps away from the beach. Price included a couple drinks (water, soda or beer).....and PRIVACY. Close to the Money Bar for those that also want noise...:) Sherri is a delight and I was honored to be her guest that day. Oh...the nachos were great! Thanks Sherri. We will be back next year!!!!!!! A great perk for guests who stay at IslaMar Vacation Villas is access to the PalMar Beach Club. Beaches aren't great in Cozumel, but the snorkeling and diving are fantastic, even snorkeling from shore. So while there are a number of access locations to the water in the area, there are very few places that offer a sandy spot to sit with beach chairs and umbrellas. And the few that do exist are pretty crowded. That's where the PalMar beach club really shines. It's located about 6 or 7 km from the apartment, a nice and easy bike ride away and there's all the amenities you could want. Beverages and snacks across the road from the sandy beach front where tables, chairs and loungers are available, and then you can have a leisurely swim and snorkel right there. We've been snorkeling in several locations in the Caribbean, but nothing even comes close to this. I doubt you'd have a better experience on a boat excursion out to deeper waters. Sherri is a wonderful hostess, and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They were available to answer questions and help, yet we felt completely free and comfortable and never felt crowded or surveilled. Our experience was fantastic and a great alternative the usual hotel/resort/cruise ship arrangement. Penny & Guilio S. - March 2016 ~ Toronto, Ontario CAN
Another fantastic visit to the PalMar Snorkel Beach Club. The Beach Club is a real bargain and includes use of the private pool, touring the Butterfly Sanctuary, and using the beach area on the world-famous reef (Bart and Tiff had a great time snorkeling and were delighted to see many colorful fish near the reef). Day use tickets even include 2 free drinks. The food is excellent as we enjoyed guacamole, ceviche, and chicken enchiladas, all terrific examples of great local food (I believe I ate my weight in ceviche and guacamole). Best of all is the sweet service offered by the employees! Iit’s a perfect balance of the staff being humble and grateful for the income we generate, and us being grateful and humbled by the beautiful surroundings and the grace of the local folks. I so enjoyed our visit! We're thinking about checking out the IslaMar Vacation Villas next. V. Hallenbeck - November 2017 ~ Winston-Salem, NC USA
Just wanted to tell you my wife and I have been coming to Cozumel for 20 years and we had one of our best days at your club yesterday. Enrique was great. Hoping you get your butterfly's back soon.... T. Higgins & S. Field-Feb 2015 ~ Hudson, WI USA
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! We are back home in Canada and miss the place already. Snorkeling was pretty awesome, thanks to Alejandro who came with us. Beach is so quiet and the food was incredible!!! You need to try that guacamole.... OMG!!! Enrique took care of us the best way possible. This is the best place to go for a day break while in Cozumel from a cruise ship. This was our second time and we sure will go there again! You can't get better for that price :) :) :) M.J. & S.
