If you pass the condos on your left or the Fiesta Americana Hotel, you just missed us!

You can't miss it!! I hope to see you there! - Sherri
We found this jewel of a place on our recent trip to Cozumel sailing on the Carnival Glory - such a beautiful estate type home with a large cement pool and beach access - we so enjoyed our day at Palmar. We also tried the chicken quesadillas, freshly made guacamole and pico de gallo with chips - delicious!!! I would highly recommend this stop on your next trip to Cozumel, especially if you want a relaxing day away from the crowd. We will plan to return! D. Bodenheimer - October 2015 ~ Denver, NC USA
If you want the best beach entry snorkel experience, you have to come out to PalMar Beach Club for the day. We came out on Wednesday, 12/02/2015 and not only saw thousands of Brightly Colored fish (yet to be identified), 2 rays, an octopus, and a sturgeon. Don't miss the Beautiful Purple Sea Fan Forest just to the right of the beach entry. But the best find of the day was a Moray eel who was nice enough to smile for the camera :) The staff made us feel like family and the food was delicious. If I had known how GREAT a snorkeling spot this was I would have booked a spot for 2 straight days......Definitely Next Time!!! Nick & Tori - December 2015 ~ Frisco, TX USA
Sherri, We just returned after a great cruise on the Carnival Holiday. We took a taxi from the cruise pier to Palmar Estate Beach Club and spent about 1/2 a day at your beautiful place. We toured the butterfly sanctuary with your wonderful guide who was informative and very gracious. I also spent quite a bit of time talking to Juan and he was delightful. We relaxed, ate chips and salsa, drank pina coladas and soaked in the sun. What a delightful place you have and a wonderful staff that made our visit great. Thanks and if we get a chance to recommend your place to others we will surely do that.
PS: Your website warned us that the taxi drivers may not be too helpful when asked to go to Palmar Estates and you were correct. After asking 3 drivers who all sort of turned up their noses at us and acted like they had never heard of your place or the butterfly sanctuary we found one that would listen. I told him it was between Hotel Presidente & Fiesta Americana and he said OK. Anyway we got there in only about 6-8 minutes from the pier. Dale and Cathy Carlson ~ Louisville, KY USA
Just finished cruise to Cozumel 5/23/2015. I had looked at info about PalMar Estate before going but did not make decision to go until the day our ship ported in Cozumel. I was with a small group of 4 and it was hard to communicate with my group prior to the trip. We went downtown first and when that got old real quick, I reminded the group of this location. It was still hard to get approval by everyone. I finally said, "we are taking a chance and going". We got a taxi (the taxi drivers act like they have never heard of it, but we took the information from this site which includes directions). We are so glad we went, it was the highlight of our cruise. The bathroom was clean, the employees were so accommodating, it was away from tourist crowds and the snorkeling was terrific. Only $13 (which includes a couple of beers) each to use their facility and beach. Enrique was an employee there who made us the best Pico de Gallo and guacamole I have ever had and served us on the beach. He was so sweet, we would have put him in our pocket and taken him back to Texas with us if we could. We would go there again definitely! G. Coldwell-May 2015 ~ Dallas, TX USA
My family and I (my husband and two boys, ages 9 and 6) were on a Disney cruise last week. During our stop over in Cozumel we spent a few hours at PalMar Beach Club. I had booked it beforehand with lots of help from Martin. I followed his instructions and arrived at PalMar without any trouble at all, for a $10 taxi fair. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us, with it being a drizzly, cloudy, windy day. We had planned on snorkeling but the water was too rough. We relaxed by the pool and had some delicious snacks and drinks. It was very quiet and definitely away from the congested tourist areas and cruise crowd. The staff at PalMar were very, very friendly. The beach area was very nice and looked like it would have been a fantastic place to spend a nice sunny day. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to spend a quiet relaxing day in Cozumel. If we are back in the area we will visit again. Thank you for your hospitality!
