Being centrally located directly behind the downtown area, beachfront street is a mere 10 minute walk straight west. Corner markets and "locals" eateries are a half a block in all directions from the Villas and one of the island's best restaurants, "Casa Mission", is a mere 5 minute walk down the street.

Your IslaMar Villas gave us a wonderful at home feeling, thanks to you !! Our upper unit was very comfortable and I liked the view of the neighborhood. We could even see a bit of how the neighbors lived and it really made you think of the comforts we take for granted. I loved getting up at sunrise as you could see and feel the early morning sun rising. You knew how good the day would be. I loved hearing the roosters in the morning and watching the locals as they got ready for their day ahead. From our upper unit you could not help to see this. The man on the bike ringing his bell with morning pastries. I remember how gracious you were to even come out and sit with us around the pool till late in the evening just talking as if we had been friends for a long while. Thank you for a wonderful experience during our three week vacation while staying at IslaMar Villas. Everything went smoothly for us - from our Open Water diving certification and subsequent dives with Dive Paradise to the days spent snorkeling at your PalMar Estate Beach Club or to just lounging around the pool. Service from your staff was impeccable and the mid-town location of the villas permitted us to interact daily with friendly Cozumelenos. We used your suggested restaurant list extensively and not once were we disappointed. In fact its use gave us the confidence to try many other local establishments. Finally, amongst all the music and dancing and party of Carnavale we wanted to note that exploring the ruins of San Gervasio became a sublime experience - a tranquil stroll in the jungle - a quiet time to contemplate nature and the continuity of human existence and accomplishment through time. Sherri and staff thank-you for an incredible experience living in one of your IslaMar Villa properties and enjoying the island more as a resident than tourist introduced us to side of Cozumel we really enjoyed, we only wish we hadn't taken so many years to vacation on Cozumel this way. The driver you hired us on the mainland was great I am very glad I didn't rent a car.
The island has made a wonderful recovery from the huricane and the diving was wonderful yes there is some reef damage but it is already making a comback and the fish life (Eagle Rays, turtles and more) seems more abundant than ever.
