The Dolphin Royal Swim is by far the most popular dolphin interaction activity in Cozumel and for good reason. The program can be described in two words: "action" and "speed". Get a handshake, a kiss and then you give them one. Feel the strength of your new friends as they push you across the water from the bottom of your feet in the thrilling foot-push. It is "the experience of a lifetime!"
The Royal Swim Program excitement starts with a swim-by, then a very special "kiss" and on to demonstration of several different behaviors including the "Foot Push" where the dolphins will push you through the water just like Superman and the "Dorsal Tow" where you will have the chance to be pulled across the water surface by two dolphins, the "Hurdle Jump" and then finally "Free Time" where you can interact freely with the two Atlantic Bottle-nosed dolphins as you would like.
Dolphin Discovery Cozumel is located in Chankanaab National Marine Park. As well as offering world class diving and snorkeling from a pristine beach, this beautiful park houses a variety of birds, the sea lion show, a botanical garden, reproductions of famous archeological sites, a typical Mayan village, an underground river, a tropical lagoon teeming with brightly colored tropical fish, restaurants and bars as well as a dive shop and Sea Trek helmet diving. So you will definitely want to allow time to enjoy the park either before or after your dolphin activity. |

Chankanaab admission rate for companions or without dolphin program is US$21 for adults and US$14 for kids 12 and under. Prices subject to change without notice. |

AGE & HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS:
Adult = More than 4 ft 7 in & More than 12 years old
Child = 3 ft 11 in to 4 ft 7 in & 8 to 11 years old
SUPERVISION:
Children 8 to 11 years old must participate with a paying adult (per child) as a companion in the activity.
Children 12 years old and over may swim on their own.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Pregnant women may not participate in any dolphin activities.
Pregnant women may not participate in any of the dolphin or sea lion programs.
All dolphin activities are safe and interactive but require physical involvement by participants.
Participants should be in good general health and able to understand and follow directions as given by the dolphin trainers.
Those who have undergone an recent surgery or suffer from any condition that may limit them physically (i.e. back surgery) should check with their physician before proceeding to make a reservation.
Life vests are provided and mandatory for every participant. |

I just wanted to take a minute now that I am home to tell you how much we enjoyed the park and all the activities you helped me set up. The sea lion swim was amazing and the show following was really enjoyable. The dolphin swim didn't work out for all of us but we are planning to do the Disney cruise again one day and we will be back for sure.
