This is the page to bookmark for Cozumel Carnaval 2008 Activities !!

Let me introduce you by telling you a bit about Pre-Carnaval events!

As you may know, each year a King and Queen of Carnaval are elected by the general population of Cozumel. These Pre-Carnaval events focus on presenting, vying for votes and electing the King and Queen of Carnaval. These are very much"locals" type events. They don't even start until well after midnight and last until the wee hours of the mornings! Tourists might enjoy them but honestly, I've never promoted attendance by tourists simply because...
  • These events do run so late into the night and ...
  • I believe the locals should maintain control of who THEY WANT as THEIR King and Queen of Carnaval.
Remember: All Pre-Carnaval activities are repeated twice - once on Saturday where the locals attend and then AGAIN on Sunday in the downtown for FREE so tourists can see!

I am listing ALL activities and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me!
