Cozumel Albatros Fishing Charters Sport fishing in the Cozumel area is primarily done with trolling so Albatros uses outriggers and down riggers in order to have a minimum of 5 lines in the water. Since the drop off for deep fishing is so close to the shore, travel times to begin good trolling are almost non-existent. Albatros currently uses Fin-Nor, Penn International and custom Reels and Rods. If you prefer, you can bring your own gear to fish. All trips include purified water, soft drinks, Mexican beers, snacks and/or light food for lunch on either 6 or 8 hour trips.
